"Bobby!  BOBBY HODGES!," Charlie yelled across the vast expanse, but there was no response, just a slight echo returning from the valley below.  He could not tell Annie, Bobby's mother, a third day that they had found no sign of her son.  Luthar held firm to Bobby below, pulling themselves tight to the cliff so that the Game Warden could not see them from his vantage point.

Once the mother and son duo of Annie and Bobby start their trip from Indiana to Washington State, it is a heart pounding adventure - but when Bobby goes missing, that is too much for Annie.  In her distraught state she sees all of Bobby's stuffed animals leave her trailer one by one and exit through the front door.  Charlie, the Fish and Wildlife Officer, searches relentlessly for Bobby; Deputy Sheriff Sheree Hopkins vows not to give up the search.  But when these two fail, who will find and rescue Bobby?  Maybe Annie wasn't dreaming after all...
